Transactional Events with Oracle TEQ in database interoperating with Apache Kafka

Event: Connect 2021
Stream: Architecture, Cloud Database & Technology

Developers build event-driven architectures with application and data event handlers. Oracle Transactional Event Queues (TEQ) in the database simplifies the exchange of application events for microservices development. For enterprise-wide heterogeneous events, Oracle TEQ can exchange events with Apache Kafka. We present examples of event handling with Oracle TEQ and Apache Kafka.

Seriously simplifying your Microservices development and deployment

Event: Connect 2021
Stream: Architecture, Cloud Database & Technology

Modern microservices development is terribly complex when a secure and reliable data architecture is being crafted. This talk presents an overall development architecture – app tier and data tier – for building simpler and secure Microservices. The talk covers a mobile food delivery app – GrabDish – to illustrate a variety of data types, languages – with containerized, multi-tenant aspects of the data platform, available both on cloud and a standalone stack. The attendees will be able to complete self-guided hands-on labs. We will share an open platform technology stack for Microservices to enhance your multi-cloud deployment strategy.
