ERP systems like EBS, JDE, and PeopleSoft are becoming bigger, more complicated, and more customized making upgrades more expensive and disruptive. But let’s face it, most of the time, it is IT that drives the need for upgrades (support for modern browsers, operating systems, etc), not new features. But sometimes there are ways to solve some of these IT scenarios without the need to upgrade. This technical session will go over the ways Oracle customers can use modern operating systems, Java versions, and web browsers with older versions of ERP and EPM. We will also be talking about how companies today rely on modern security approaches to secure even the oldest systems without constantly applying disruptive patches, all while passing security audits with flying colors.
