Distribution and manufacturing cost accounting is a challenge for many Oracle EBS users. For over twenty years, Doug Volz has provided consulting services in this area, helping firms become more efficient with their everyday cost accounting activities. Through his consulting company, Douglas Volz Consulting, he has developed and published numerous SQL reports focused on easing this challenge and has shared these with the Oracle OATUG and Oracle Community at large. Doug recognizes the unique needs of global companies and addresses these needs with reports that cover topics such as global accounting period status, material accounting, receiving accounting, WIP accounting, and month-end inventory valuation and reconciliation, none of which are easily addressed in standard Oracle EBS reports.
Douglas Volz has now pre-configured these same reports into an easy-to-use, free reporting tool called Blitz Report™. This allows Finance and Cost Accountants to use these reports straight away, without the need to have separate IT development teams to implement them into complex and expensive reporting tools.
