  • Hands on Lab (Beginner or Intermediate) 90 min The Hands on Lab session will begin with signing up for an Always Free Oracle Cloud account, provisioning an Autonomous Database, and using APEX. Then, attendees will be able to choose from one of the following labs:
    1. Beginner Lab: Creating a Responsive Web Application from a Spreadsheet
    2. Intermediate Lab: Building an Application on remote data using REST APIs

What’s new in APEX 19? (60 mins)

  • Learn about the new features in APEX 19.2 including Faceted Search, an all new Team Development, REST-enabled Interactive Grids, enhanced Popup LOV item and expanded Shared LOVs, improved data loading wizard, a new dark mode for Universal Theme, and a whole lot more!

Beautiful Apps on Data from Everywhere using Oracle APEX (60 mins)

  • Learn how you can easily build apps on remote data via REST APIs in APEX. This session will show you how you can easily build reports, forms, charts, and calendars on external datasources and seamlessly join remote and local data through the power of SQL.

Presenter: Christina Cho
Christina is a Consulting Member of Technical Staff at Oracle and a member of the Oracle Application Express (APEX) development team. As APEX team member, Christina developed interactive report, websheet, SQL workshop, data workshop, and create application wizard. She also developed popular Oracle web site LiveSQL.oracle.com.

Shakeeb is a Software Development Manager at Oracle where he leads for Oracle APEX and is on a mission to bring tasteful design and world-class user experience to the enterprise. Shakeeb strives to empower APEX developers with the tools they need to easily build beautiful, responsive, accessible applications. With over 13 years experience working with Oracle tools Lino started his ventures with APEX 3.1 version back in 2008. In early 2015 became freelance APEX consultant. He worked for US, Europe, New Zealand and Australia based clients from all sectors. Working along side APEX RnD founder Dimitri Gielis, who is very well known and respected in the APEX Community as ACE Director, is his biggest motivator. Oracle ACE and regular APAC and AUSOUG conference speaker.
