Reducing “Death in Dev” using Oracle Data Science

Data Engineering and Data Science Teams spend lots of time in feature engineering and building models that are expected to provide results in return to the organization. Organizations are encouraging Citizen Data Scientists to contribute to their area of work using Data Science as a day to day toolkit.
However, that is not what reality is. Most of the work dies in Dev due to 3 main factors
1) Lack of accelerators/ quick starters to help citizen data scientists
2) Lack of Evaluation Toolkits
3) Lack of Trust – “Not be able to explain the reason for an outcome”
Oracle’s recent OCI Data Science tries to address these gaps with the homegrown “Accelerated Data Science” (ADS) SDK. This webinar will address the use of ADS SDK to help organizations increase the “Promote to Prod” KPI and reduce “Death in Dev” KPI
