Presenter: Nick Engelman (Dell EMC)

Nick Engelman is a business technologist with almost 30 year’s experience in the IT industry. He began his career as a ground-floor member of the Australian startup anti-virus company Cybec in the early 1990s, where the team implemented a CD/CI pipeline well before anyone knew that was a thing. Nick has spent a number of years working in the Digital transformation space, and has a continuing delight in the IT industry, where continual learning is not just a necessity, but also a joy.

Presenter: Amith Nambiar

Amith is a software enthusiast currently in the role of a Platform Architect with Pivotal Software. He was previously a Solutions Architect with Experian, performing architecture on Big Data Analytics projects with teams in Melbourne, Malaysia and the US. He is very passionate about Software Design and Architecture, and likes to research new technologies to provide elegant solutions to business problems. His other areas of interest include Distributed Computing, Machine Learning, IoT, High Scalability, Microservices and Kubernetes.

He enjoys learning and teaching, as he recognises that this is a critical aspect of remaining at the forefront of technology in the modern era.

Over the past 15+ years, Carlos has developed and defined solutions that are reliable, secure and scalable, working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders. He enjoys leading engagements and am very active in the technical communities – both internal and external. He has stood out as a noticeable mentor running technology events across major cities in Australia and New Zealand, including various technology areas such as, Cloud Native,  Enterprise Integrations, API Management, Multi-Cloud interoperability, IaaS and PaaS adoption, DevOps, Continuous Integration, Continuous Automation among others.

Presenter: Alysson Souza:

A recent return to the Oracle fold (formerly of Oracle Brazil), Alysson is a passionate Cloud Architect, experienced in the design and enablement of public and private cloud platforms for large and medium enterprises. With in-depth knowledge in Cloud Infrastructure and Big Data ecosystem components like HDFS, Hive, Spark and Kafka, Alysson was responsible for ensuring the success of the cloud adoption and Big Data strategy across multiple companies in Latin America and Australia.
