Bringing Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) to APEX (APEX Series, Presentation 10)

This is the first ever 3D APEX presentation. You will receive a Google Cardboard to follow along as I introduce the concepts of the WebVR, WebAR API, and the newer WebXR API. I will also showcase the first Mixed Reality Oracle APEX app.
Mixed Reality (WebXR) is designed to allow web developers to easily create web applications that adapt to the capabilities of each platform. These examples run in WebVR- and AR-enabled browsers.
Maybe you don’t use Mixed Reality just yet in your apps, but I’m sure in the future you will. Either way, this presentation will be fun!
Dimitri Gielis is a director of APEX R&D, a company specializing in Oracle Application Express and founder of APEX Office Print (AOP). Dimitri is a frequent presenter at all of the major Oracle conferences, an Oracle ACE director, and received several awards including Oracle APEX Developer of the Year.
