THE AUTONOMOUS DATABASE – WHAT DOES IT MEAN FOR DBAS AND EVERYONE ELSE

What does Autonomous mean to your organization and and its goals? Perhaps more importantly, what does an Autonomous future mean for DBAs. This session will walk through the Autonomous database offering, and how to configure it for use within your organization. We’ll also talk about the features and restrictions that are imposed, and most importantly – does it mean all DBA’s are out of a job?

ORACLE 12.2/18C/19C – THE LATEST AND GREATEST!

Whilst most fanfare on 12.2/18c is about cloud-first, sharding, and autonomous database, there is a multitude of other enhancements that DBAs and Developers would benefit from immediately. This session focuses on the lesser known but still critical new features and improvements in 12.2/18c. And yes, we’ll even throw some 19c into the mix as well!
