The presentation covers the evolution from paper to a mobile solution in a residential building company.   Topics include - An intimate conversation between developers and the business; exploring clean and consistent mobile design, the challenges of the corporate world, jumping through the hurdles of implementation, and the significant impact producing a great mobile product has delivered for the business.  The application was developed using Oracle Application Express, but the content is relevant to any mobile development.

Branka Njegich

Branka has almost 15 years’ experience as an Oracle Systems Consultant with Sage Computing Services, and is best known for her knowledge and experience throughout the West Australian Building Industry. She has more recently taken on an active role in the management of Sage.   Branka is experienced in taking her client's requirements from analysis, through design and development to a successful conclusion, and is skilled in a wide range of Oracle products.

Well respected by her peers and work colleagues and highly regarded for her leadership and organisational qualities, she was involved in the WA Oracle User Group for many years liaising with many industry and committee heads around Australia.  Branka is also quite passionate about good food, so in her spare time you will most often find her at home in her kitchen indulging in her love for baking and cooking for her family and friends.

Craig Purser

Craig Purser is the Ventura Home Group (VHG) Chief Information Officer (CIO). Craig's career includes a decade in software design and development, human resource management and the establishment of dynamic contractual development teams in the residential building industry in Perth. 

Craig's recent IT infrastructure projects have culminated in the seamless transition of VHG to a purpose built space in Osborne Park while successfully project managing the development and delivery of an innovative mobile construction application for onsite supervisors.

Looking ahead Craig acknowledges the key challenges for business will be how it stays connected with its staff, suppliers and clients in a mobile world.  Craig is excited by the prospect of collecting and analysing new mobile data feeds to improve business processes and efficiency. Craig views himself as an agent of change, focussed on achieving corporate goals whilst maintaining corporate culture in a technological age.
