Accessing Accessibilty - Accessibilty issues when developing web applications

This is an brief introduction to Accessibility issues in web design with particular reference to Oracle Application Express and draws from my experiences with developing Accessibility-compliant, student facing web applications at the University of Melbourne ( UoM).

Pre-requisites: Some basic web development experience, html, css and familiarity with web development concepts and issues. Basic Oracle Apex knowledge is also useful but not absolutely necessary

Presentation Objectives:  Good appreciation of Accessibility issues at working and project planning levels.

Speaker Details

Kevin Payne is currently working for Ajilon Consulting at Queensland Health. He is Queensland Branch President of AUSOUG and has been a member of Oracle User groups since 1997. Since 1990 Kevin has developed several hundred Oracle based applications.
