Paper Title and Abstract

Bring Graph Analysis to Relational and Hadoop Data

Stream: DEV

Graph processing is used to support business problems ranging from social network analysis to product recommendation systems. In particular, graph analysis functions such as community detection, page rank, path finding, and collaborative filtering are powerful techniques for revealing hidden relationships and connections in business data. This session introduces two property graph databases: Oracle Big Data Spatial and Graph, and Oracle Database 12c Release 2 Spatial and Graph. These are massively scalable, fast, and flexible graph databases for Apache Hadoop, NoSQL, and Oracle Database. The session also introduces recent product enhancements such as property graph query language (PGQL), horizontal in-memory analysis, and visualization.
