Integration in Action

The world we work in is rapidly changing. The business landscape is extremely competitive, but more than ever organisations must change quickly in order to bring products and services to market.

Digital disruption is happening and many companies are trying to respond at a pace that matches their competition. This demand for business agility challenges our IT environments, and IT is torn between the resource / costs associated with keeping the lights on, and supporting business innovation against a backdrop of IT budgets being under pressure.
Increasingly the adoption of SaaS applications by various Lines of Business within an organisation increases the integration challenges that the IT department is being encumbered with.

In the Integration In Action workshop we will explore options to address a number of integration challenges affecting the modern business. We will highlight how the Oracle Platform provides capabilities to address lightweight, intermediate and complex integration requirements, allowing IT departments to solve integration challenges in the way most appropriate to the business context.

The Integration in Action one day workshop will showcase and explore what is possible with Oracle's Integration Solutions including:

  • Simple point to point integration between two applications using Node.js, REST and SOAP integration patterns
  • Transfer data between applications using a file based Integration approach
  • Develop and deploy APIs and integration projects to enable your transition to Digital Business
  • Integration between SaaS and On-premise applications, using a cloud based browser Point & Click Capability, exploiting application connectors and ready built integrations
  • Integrate data from (IoT) devices using Stream Analytics
  • Using a High Performance Memory Based Data Sharing Capability

Who should attend:
- Architects, Business Managers, Key Developers, IT Managers, Application Managers
