Speakers & Paper Submissions

The AUSOUG/OAUG and ODTUG National Organising Committee is now calling for papers and submissions for the AUSOUG 2009 National Conference Series being held in Perth from 10-11 November at the Burswood Entertainment Centre and Melbourne from 16-17 November at the Sebel Albert Park Hotel.

All members of our community are invited to submit papers for this year's events in Perth and Melbourne. With over 1000 people participating in AUSOUG's 20:20 Foresight Conferences nationally, your experience is invaluable to the success of these events. End users, independent professionals, Oracle, Oracle Partners and suppliers of Oracle services are invited to submit papers that cover, Core Technology, Oracle Middleware, Oracle BI and Oracle Applications and other Oracle Products that you believe will be of interest to our members.

Our program allows for session times of 45, 60 or 90 minutes and can fall into the following categories:

  • Case study or useful tips
  • Training sessions
  • Real life experience and best practice
  • Defining strategies and techniques
  • The latest or best technologies

Presentations may include any topic from any of Oracle's Product Suite, services or your practical experience. Both Technical and Business streams will run throughout the conference program with presentations covering the implementation, use and support of Oracle and associated third party products and services.

SUBMITTING AN ABSTRACT FOR CONSIDERATION

You can submit your abstracts via the online system no later than 30 September 2009.
Alternatively you can complete the CALL FOR ABSTRACTS submission form and email it to conference2009@ausoug.org.au by the due date.

Speakers Guidelines

A Guidelines for Speakers is available by clicking onto the link on the heading. This document provides information on submission and presentation of your paper. All speakers are required to be registered to attend the National Conference Series (Perth, Melbourne or both). Speakers will receive a two day registration to the Conference(s) they have been accepted to present at. All accepted Speakers MUST register to attend the Conference after they have been accepted. Final acceptance will be dependent on the conference registration of all presenters (except for keynote and invited speakers). All authorized papers/presentations should be available from the AUSOUG website on conclusion of the conference series.
