AUSOUG 2008 Conference Registration and Payment

This page allows you to enter your registration details and pay for the 2008 AUSOUG conference attendence. Please enter your details clearly and correctly in order to support the registration process. Upon completion of these details you will be redirected to an online secure payment service hosted by DirectOne to pay for attendance at this year's conference.

All details submitted on this page will be treated in accordance of the AUSOUG privacy policy.

The Registration Form becomes a Tax Invoice for GST on completion and payment. A separate Tax Invoice will not be issued. Please keep a copy for your records.

Registration and Payment:

Please note the following registration and payment points:

  • If you are a member then you must supply your AUSOUG membership number in the form AU12345X. If you are not a member then please enter NA in the AUSOUG membership # field. Additional fees may apply if you are not a member
  • Contact the registrar if your membership has lapsed.
  • Students are asked to submit the paper based registration form to the AUSOUG registrar with a copy of their student card.
  • Confirmed speakers attend at no charge.
  • Super Early Bird Discounts apply before 25 July 2008.
  • Early Bird discounts apply before 5th September 2008.
  • Group discounts apply to a minimum of 5 delegates from each organisation.
  • For entering group registrations please use the registration form or contact the AUSOUG registrar.
  • The online payment service accepts Visa, Mastercard and Amex.
  • All costs listed are per person.
  • AUSOUG reserves the right to cancel a payment and refund monies to the sum not used by the paying delegates.
  • All delegates must be current financial members of AUSOUG or OAUG. Annual AUSOUG/OAUG Membership fees must be paid for each non-member/expired member delegate.
  • The Non-Member fee includes 12 months Individual Membership of AUSOUG. Other Membership options can be obtained from the AUSOUG Secretariat.
  • Student registration must be accompanied by Student ID; name of College/Institution/University; Course name; lecturer name.
  • All prices are stated in Australian Dollars [$AUD] and include GST. Payments must be made in Australian Dollars.
  • AUSOUG prefers registration to be made via the secure on-line www service, especially for all credit card transactions.
  • No half day registrations are available. One day is the minimum for members who are not presenters, due to catering arrangements and other cost factors. Admission is by name badge generated from the accounting system. Please settle accounts prior to attendance at the conference. Any substitutions for attendance must be notified so that a suitable name badge can be generated prior to the conference.
  • Speaker Registration. Speakers will only be able to register as a Speaker once their presentation/s have been accepted. Speakers will receive a two day registration to the Conference(s) they have been accepted to present at.
  • Shared Registrations will only be permitted if pre-arranged with the Conference Secretariat. ALL names and who they are sharing with, must be lodged with the Secretariat at least a week prior to the Conference being attended, to ensure name badges are produced. Note: If two or more people share the one registration then only one conference satchel will be issued. Only one person at a time can be in attendance at the conference per shared registration. This will be monitored. SHARED REGISTRATIONS DO NOT TAKE THE PLACE OF ‘DAY REGISTRATION’. Therefore a delegate cannot register for the full conference and split the days with another person.
  • The email address of the National Conference Series 2008 is events@ausoug.org.au for all enquiries.
  • Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellations of registration must be received in writing no later than 30 September 2008 if attending Perth; and 7 October 2008 if attending Gold coast. Monies paid will be refunded after deduction of an administration fee of $100. No monies will be refunded for notice of cancellation after these dates. At all times, however, substitute delegates are welcome upon written advice to the Conference Secretariat.
