2009 Conference Program

The Conference Speaker Program of the AUSOUG National Conference Series 2009 will be held over two days at both Perth and Melbourne. The Conference in Perth will commence on 10 November and conclude on 11 November; the Conference in Melbourne will commence on 16 November and conclude on 17 November.

Each day will consist of a number of plenary sessions presented by keynote speakers, plus streamed concurrent sessions: Development; Applications; Database Administration; Business.

A networking session will be held on the conclusion of the first day, followed by an optional conference dinner (at this stage in Melbourne only).

The trade exhibition will be held from 8.00am to 5.00pm on each day. All catering will take place in this area.

Social Program

WELCOME RECEPTION – PERTH & MELBOURNE

Relax, network and catch up with friends and your peers. The Welcome Reception will be held in the exhibition area at the end of the first day at both conferences.

Guests will receive canapés and drinks, plus the opportunity to win some prizes.

The Welcome Reception is an entitlement for those delegates who registered for the full conference only. All other delegates and guests are required to pay $52.00 if they wish to attend.

CONFERENCE DINNER – MELBOURNE

A Conference Dinner will be held for attendees of the Melbourne Conference on Monday 16 November. This dinner will be an optional extra for ONLY $75 (inc GST) per person. Guests will receive canapés on arrival, a three course meal and beverages (wine, beer and soft drinks). Once again, this is only because it will be very heavily subsidised by AUSOUG, OAUG and ODTUG.

You will be able to book for the dinner via the online registration facility or the manual Registration Form. Tickets will be limited so please book early and avoid disappointment.

AUSOUG AGM

AUSOUG will be holding their AGM after the last session on the first day of the Perth conference and all members are welcome to attend.
