MORE REASONS TO COME TO THE PERTH OR GOLD COAST CONFERENCE

There are clearly two major reasons for attending this year's AUSOUG conferences: The outstanding quality and quantity of education sessions; and the practical information available.

We promise an abundance of both and challenge you to find a better program outside of Oracle's OpenWorld in the US. A brave statement you may think, but look at the program of speakers and training sessions below and I am confident you will agree, AUSOUG - OAUG's 2008 conferences cannot afford to be missed.

HIGH PROFILE SPEAKERS CONFIRMED

Apart from the high profile speakers previously announced - Tom Kyte (Things you "know"), Rich Niemiec (How Oracle Came to Rule the Database World), Dr Tim S Hall (Boost performance with PL/SQL programming best practices; and 11g New Features for PL/SQL developers), Mike Lehmann (Next Generation Enterprise Application Grids with WebLogic) - we are also pleased to announce the following speakers have confirmed they will be presenting at both the Perth and Gold Coast conferences:

David Peake, Principal Product Manager in Oracle's Server Technologies division and APEX guru.  He will present on Access Migrations.

and R12 Mulit-Org Access Control (MOAC): An inside Look;
plus a full day workshop: Administering R12 and Focus on R12.

As well Keynote sessions will be presented by:

ORACLE ACES SPEAKING AT THE NATIONAL CONFERENCE SERIES 2008

Oracle ACEs and Oracle ACE Directors are known for their strong credentials as Oracle community evangelists and technical educators, with candidates nominated by anyone in the Oracle technical community.  The baseline requirements are the same for both designations; however, Oracle ACE Directors meet a higher level of expectation in terms of community activity.

Come and hear them during a panel session along the lines of the "So you want to be an Oracle ACE?" as presented at the Oracle OpenWorld in 2007.
